With 17 guest rooms, the Amelia Schoolhouse Inn provides the customer service you expect from a small inn with luxuries you see at larger hotels. Although we are not a bed and breakfast, our quaint boutique inn offers a similar experience. Such amenities as a pool, a courtyard, a putting green along with The Principal's Office bar, our guests are well taken care of. And with our location being in downtown Fernandina, you are just steps away from many shops and restaurants.
All of our guest rooms sleep 2 guests and have either a king or queen bed. Depending on the preferred bed size, we have two room types: Premium Rooms and Classic Rooms. Our Premium Rooms tend to be larger than our Classic Rooms while also having the original hardwood floors from 1886. Our Premium King Rooms come with extra seating and provide more space to those who might desire a little extra room during their stay. Our Premium Queen room does not have the extra seating, but still provides the original hardwood floors and a view out the front of the building.
Our Classic Rooms, while small in size, come with all the amenities many "regular" hotel rooms would have - only with less square footage. All of these rooms are carpeted and can be found on both the first and second floors.
